How to Screen Share QuickBooks Desktop With Intuit Support

Intuit Support Agents are not allowed to use any external screen share platforms. Their screen share service does not support incoming or outgoing audio, so do not disconnect from the call or web chat you have in case you want to ask questions.

Within QuickBooks

  1. Login to your QuickBooks Desktop company file

  2. From the top navigation menu, select "File"

  3. Hover over "Utilities", then click on "Share your screen with an agent"

  4. A pop-up screen for you to download Glance, the screen share service used by Intuit, will appear. Follow the instructions provided on the screen. Once the download is complete, click on the app or you will see a link on the download screen prompting you to click it to obtain the access code.

  5. Give the access code to the support agent. They can only guide you through where to click, not perform the actions for you and there will not be any audio. Stay connected to the call or web chat until your support session has ended.

Workaround: Page Unavailable Error

You may experience issues if your QuickBooks Desktop is hosted in the cloud. If so, click this link to download Glance, the screen share service used by Intuit. After the download is complete, click here to obtain the access code you'll need to give to the support agent.
